Over the years, parents and students have told /shown us scripts where students got the steps right but they were marked wrong because of incorrect answer.
In this season of examination, it is important to remind Mathematics Teachers that answer is not the only thing marked, except of course when it is multiple choice questions (aka objective) or fill in the blank question.
If it is theory/essay, you distribute marks to formula, steps and answer.
As Maths Teachers, let’s desist from awarding marks to final answer only from this term.
